An education platform running programs with more than eighty universities is not one product with one audience. Every partner institution brings its own program structures, cohorts and calendars, and its own expectations about how its brand appears to a learner who paid for a course with that university's name on it. Meanwhile the learners study on a phone, on a commute, so the experience has to be as complete on mobile as on a laptop.
CodigoDelSur engineers joined Emeritus product teams directly rather than working as an outside vendor on a separate track. The work spanned the learning experience across web and mobile: course delivery, the learner-facing interface, and the platform features that support cohort-based programs at scale. Working inside the client's own teams meant taking product context from the same place the internal engineers did. Stack: React, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, web, mobile.
