PacPost is a remote video review platform for post-production: it lets directors, editors and colourists review the same footage together without being in the same room. CodigoDelSur built its iPad MVP, covering multi-room streaming, Apple Pencil markup on the frame, and Face ID with two-factor authentication on the way in.

Post-production review used to happen in a room: a director, an editor and a colourist looking at the same screen, pointing at it. Doing that remotely is not a video call with a shared screen. The image has to arrive with low enough latency that several people react to the same frame at once, the annotation has to land on a specific frame, and the content is unreleased film, so the security requirements are the studio's, not the app's.
CodigoDelSur built the iPad application for multi-room remote review. Low-latency streaming came through Millicast, with Twilio Video handling participant rooms so separate groups could review in parallel sessions. Markup was built on Apple's PencilKit, so a reviewer draws on the frame and the annotation attaches to the exact point in the timeline. Access was protected with Face ID and two-factor authentication. Stack: Swift, PencilKit, Millicast, Twilio Video, React, iPad.
