Caravela Coffee sources and trades green specialty coffee, buying from producers at origin and selling to roasters around the world. Its operations run on Atlas, a custom ERP built for that trade. CodigoDelSur took ownership of the Atlas codebase and developed it for close to four years, from 2022 to 2025, alongside Roaster Hub, the platform where roasters source coffee and manage their contracts.

Green coffee trading does not fit an off-the-shelf ERP. A lot of coffee is bought from a specific producer in a specific harvest, tested in a lab for quality that determines its price, shipped across a border, warehoused, and sold on to a roaster who cares which farm it came from. Weight changes, quality is a score rather than a specification, and traceability back to the producer is the product rather than a compliance afterthought.
