Grubhub is the leading online platform for food delivery. Based in Chicago since its creation in 2004, the company has more than 300,000 restaurants that use its platform worldwide. Well over 200,000 of them are located in around 4000 US cities.
With the intention of providing a more personalized user experience for restaurants and their clients, Grubhub sought a technology partner to develop its second line of business: the customization of a white-label app for restaurants looking to have their own platform to process orders, payments and deliveries.
CodigoDelSur assembled a team with different tech profiles, who would then go on to work on the personalization of the white-label app so that each client could have their own platform. In this line of business, restaurants opting to have their own app are able to define and implement customer loyalty programs, facilitate orders and payments, and reduce delivery times.
Over the course of the past two years, we’ve helped Grubhub personalize and maintain their white-label app for more than 30 restaurants worldwide. This project is not only ongoing but continues to grow in team size and scope, allowing us to help our client to permanently offer a personalized product to the customers of the many different restaurants that work with them.
