BlueCimarron

The client

BlueCimarron is a cloud ERP for mid-market companies, bringing finance, accounting, inventory, CRM, projects, manufacturing and operations into one system. CodigoDelSur rescued its billing platform with a full responsive reskin and UX revamp, then built out its Billing, Accounting and Reports modules, over more than two years.

The challenge

An ERP is judged by the people who live in it eight hours a day, and billing is where they live. It is also the part of the system where an interface problem becomes a money problem: an invoice issued against the wrong record, a report that does not reconcile, a screen that does not work on the laptop somebody is actually using. Both halves needed fixing at once, the existing product and the modules underneath it.

our approach

CodigoDelSur started with the rescue: a full responsive reskin and a UX revamp of the existing billing platform, so it worked on the devices people were using and stopped costing time on every task. From there the team built out the Billing, Accounting and Reports modules, with payment processing through USIO, on a React frontend over a Java backend running on AWS. Stack: React, Java, AWS, USIO, web, backend.

The result

The billing platform was rescued with a full responsive reskin and UX revamp, and the Billing, Accounting and Reports modules were built on top of it. The engagement ran for more than two years, from 2023 to 2025, on a platform covering finance, accounting, inventory, CRM, projects and operations for mid-market companies.
