The client was in the process of building iOS and Android apps and needed a technology partner, with specific experience in software development for drones, to handle the integration of the hardware SDKs with their respective apps.
We assigned the top drone experts in our team (who also happen to be drone lovers!) to start integrating the DJI SDKs to DroneDeploy’s mobile apps. With these integrations, users were able to centralize all communications and plan flying routes using the apps. We also worked to include a series of smart features, such as generating 3D models and the possibility to share them in real-time.
Within two years, CodigoDelSur helped the client develop their iOS and Android apps through SDK integrations, platform maintenance, and the development of smart features. At present, more than 100,000 drone pilots have successfully mapped 100 million acres of land worldwide using DroneDeploy.
