Pngme founders, Brendan and Cate, are well-seasoned entrepreneurs with several successful companies under their belt. They came to us with the challenge of creating a product within a vertical in which we have a lot of expertise: the fintech, but for a market that we knew very little about: the African market. The idea behind Pngme is to help lenders in emerging markets to easily scale.
This project had two main challenges: the first one is the same every project in the fintech industry has, which is that you are dealing with money, lots of it, so every failure means losing money, lots of it; the second one was the market it was targeting - understanding it, understanding the target audience, and creating a user experience that fits their needs.
We worked very closely with the founding team in understanding the target market and target audience. What kind of expectations did the potential users have when using this product? When would they use this product? What would they use it for? Also, we were very careful with our deliverables, consistently assuring the quality of our back end in order to rest assured it was flawless.
We achieved a very usable product that went through the product launch very successfully. Right now we are getting user feedback and we continue with the development of the product based on that feedback. So far, Pngme has gained a lot of attention, not only from the media but also from investors.
