Music is better together, and Earbuds are the best way to discover, listen to, and share music along with your friends and favorite celebrities in real time. Stream your favorite music, live, for your followers to listen from anywhere - even if they use a different streaming platform than the one you use! Make playlists and share them with friends - like a modern mixtape, and get inside the headphones of your favorite celebrities, musicians, and athletes who stream live.
The client requested the creation of an Android application based on an iOS app that has previously been released on the App Store. The idea was to replicate the same features on the Android app, which was especially challenging given the use of Apple Music on the iOS app, as well as adding new ones to continue expanding the app’s reach.
We focused on building all the new features, mixing components of social networking apps along the way, such as the implementation of a chat and the possibility to see photos and listen to the same playlists your friends or favorite celebrities listen to. To achieve this, and without having to exit the app, we integrated the Spotify and Apple Music SDKs.
We successfully released a beta version to start testing with the complete set of features such as messaging, in-app music integration, photo library, real-time notifications, etc. The Earbuds Android app is now live and ready to deliver the best listening experience out there!
